Family Workshop

The Delray Recovery Center believes that a vital part of the treatment process involves the family of the addict.  From the commencement of treatment for the individual, the family will also begin the treatment process, touching on the emotional, mental, and physical levels affected by the loved one’s addiction or substance abuse. Delray Recovery Center works with each family, providing education and support throughout the treatment and recovery process of their loved one’s addiction or alcoholism.

Individuals entering the program will sign release forms allowing the primary therapist to be in regular contact with close family members. Family Workshops are held to educate the family on addiction and recovery, as well as to provide the family with tools and information on how to support their loved one throughout the recovery process. Continued family support is provided after the individual leaves treatment to ensure long term recovery for both the recovering individual and their family.
