Opiate Drug Rehab

Usually painkillers and opiate based drugs are prescribed by medical professionals or doctors to help the patient bear pain better. Opiate based drugs are painkillers such as Klonopin, Percocre, morphine and OxyContin. Apart from their medical use for pain relief, many of the opiate drugs are abused all over the world.  Long term users are especially prone to opiate drug addiction due to the pain relief nature of the drugs. Over time it culminates into dependence, abuse and addiction.

Of the many opiate drug rehab programs that have been established all over US, there are only a few that address the specific issues related to opiate drug rehab issues. The traditional opiate drug rehab facilities treat patients with a comprehensive educational approach and 12-step programs but fail to address the mental and emotional aspects. Due to this reason, these conventional rehab facilities have a low success rate and once the addicted individual leaves the program, they have a relapse.

The serious side effects of the opiate drug addiction include kidney failure; liver diseases, mental disorders and erratic behavior with sever withdrawal symptoms if the drug is not ingested. However, other opiate drug rehab program works successfully through the different process that includes diagnosis, in-patient and out patient program, detoxify and psychotherapy. After the initial evaluation and diagnosis, only long term serious cases of drug addiction are admitted to the in-patient opiate drug rehab. Those with lesser degrees of drug addictions are encouraged to come and attend the out-patient program at Delray Recovery Center.

At our researched opiate drug rehab program, we have a step-by-step process that covers all aspects including physical, mental and emotional reasons behind the addiction and investigate if there is a relapse. In most cases, the mental and emotional aspects along with intense psychological dependence lead to the cravings that drugs are needed for relief.

During the rehabilitation process, one of the main steps taken is to keep the individual drug free while helping them cope up with the withdrawal symptoms. During the detoxification process, we ensure that opiate drugs are completely withdrawn and the addict does not have access to it. This is the difficult part but to cope with the symptoms and associated issues, our helpful and caring staff is available 24 hours apart from the team of doctors and psychiatrists.
