What is Christian alcohol rehab?
Unlike the traditional rehab centers and even some of the alternative addiction treatment and recovery facilities, the Christian alcohol rehab offers certain elements throughout their programs that the client cannot receive at the other types of facilities. This type of program is what we classify as a “faith-based” rehab program in that it enables the individual to rekindle their faith and start walking their spiritual paths again while they are recovering. The client is allowed to explore their faith again and grow stronger spiritually as they progress through the program.

The Christian alcohol rehab program enhances the rehab process with certain recovery tools that the other rehab programs do not provide. Being able to explore and rekindle their faith again enables the individual to remain substance-free once they have completed the faith-based rehab program and returned to society. Most of these programs feature 5 key elements including:
- bible studies and scriptural instruction
- candlelit prayer and reflection sessions
- lectures/sermons conducted by ministers or pastors
- ministerial and/or pastoral counseling
- regular church services during the week
However, the biggest benefit that the client receives is being able to walk their spiritual paths again just like they once did before the addiction started controlling their lives.

At our facility, we firmly believe that every individual who is suffering with alcohol dependency deserves an opportunity to regain their health.
Our alcohol rehab program is an integrative treatment and recovery program that is based on a 5 Phase Step Down Model. The first phase is the most intense and strictest but as you progress through the program, each phase offers more freedoms. The 5 phases of the program are:
- Detoxification- the individual abstains from alcohol completely leading to onset o withdrawal symptoms but the body purges the toxins.
- Partial hospitalization- the individual stays in the clinic/hospital for a few hours for treatment and goes back home in the evening.
- In-patient residential treatment- This is residential care required for chronic alcoholics that require 24/7 monitoring. It can last from 28 days to a few months depending upon the pace of recovery.
- Out-patient treatment- The individual comes for detox and treatment at pre-decided time and goes back home in the evening.
- Sober living- These are temporary aftercare homes enabling the individuals to recover the will to stay sober. It is after rehab is completed and before individuals go back to normal life.
